Description
The Staff Scientist will play a key role in product development in support of expression/purification, formulation and fill/finish process development. The position requires hands-on laboratory work and project management skills. Responsibilities include development and optimization of upstream and downstream processes, formulation development, characterization and stability studies.
Requirements
Must have either a PhD in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field of study, or an MS with a minimum of 4 years of related experience. Experience with protein expression/purification is preferred. Must have a thorough working knowledge of the following analytical methodologies: HPLC, SDS-PAGE, MDSC, Fluorescence spectroscopy, light scattering. Experience with mentoring and managing direct reports is an asset.
