Project Manager, Client Development Projects
Job Requirements:
This position requires an experienced professional who will be responsible for overseeing contract drug development programs in an exciting and timeline-driven environment. The qualified individual will possess a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related field and have 8-12 years industry experience of which at least 4 years with extensive supervisory responsibility on several projects in parallel. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, specifically related to communications with clients, and frequent timely delivery of Development projects reports. Candidates will have to provide scientific leadership, and track multiple programs while maintaining steadiness and balance under pressure. Experience in analytical and biochemical techniques is a must. Experience with pharmaceutical formulations development, drug delivery, drug discovery, or lyophilization development a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities of the assigned project leaders
- Track and document progress for client projects for timely execution.
- Prepare timelines for client projects
- Assess all needs for new projects
- Report weekly to management
- Review correct, write and finalize project reports under company format
- Train new employees assigned to the group
- Lead or oversee all technical communication with clients
- Lead or oversee technology transfers and all other internal communication
- Hands on lab work on some projects (up to 60% of time)
