Using our neuNanoParticle^® Technology, Formatech has developed neuDocetaxel; a novel docetaxel formulation which has demonstrated significantly higher maximum tolerated doses due to less toxicity, better PK profile, and best efficacy against human colon, melanoma, ovarian, and prostrate tumor xenografts in nude mice.

Docetaxel (Sanofi-Aventis' Taxotere^®1) is a front line anticancer therapeutic to treat Breast, Colon, Prostate, Ovarian and Non-small cell lung (NSCL) cancers.

Despite worldwide sales of about $2 billion, the current commercial product manifests the following limitations/issues/safety concerns:

• Excipient based undesirable side effects such as hypersensitivity, nephrotoxicity, and neurotoxicity
• Multi-step dilution processes are required prior to administration
• Prolonged infusion times

After applying our neuNanoParticle Technology methods, neuDocetaxel provides the following advantages:
