'Tis the Season of Tryons

‘Tis the season of eCommerce! We have Black Friday (social distancing turning the party digital), Cyber Monday, and of course those holidays! How will online shopping be different this holiday season? 
 
While we wait to find out, studies are predicting one of the biggest online shopping seasons ever. Shopping in person is harder to do this year, and forecasters argue that people missed out on their usual spending for vacations, going out to dinner, and other activities due to the pandemic. What does that mean for the holidays? Extra cash for gift giving this year.

What to expect?

In the Redpoint Global Holiday Shopping 2020 survey, the study found that nearly two-thirds of the 1,000 adult shoppers surveyed (62%) planned to do all their holiday shopping online and that, “70 percent of consumers say they will exclusively shop with brands that can demonstrate that they personally understand them this holiday season.” These shoppers are going increasingly digital and as they do so, their expectations around personalization are at a maximum.

Shoppers spending their hard-earned dollars on fashion and apparel websites this season will be in for a treat when they find the most personal experience they can get when using Forma-powered digital dressing rooms.
